One specimen of interesting snowflake type: capped column. It's not rare thing, but difficult to shoot because of volumetric shape and small size (usually not longer than 2 millimeters). Unfortunately, i still not focus-stacked it, but it's my first relatively good shot of this type.
8 serial shots averaged to boost signal-to-noise ratio. Background: dark woolen fabric, natural light (gray clouded sky), external optics Helios 44M-5, january 2013, Moscow. Looks better in original resolution: 1250 * 938 pixels.
