WNI yang Dibunuh di Hong Kong tak Dapat Asuransi TKI, Sumarti Ningsih WNI yang tewas di Hong Kong tidak akan mendapatkan asuransi kematian layaknya tenaga kerja Indonesia (TKI). Hal itu dikatakan oleh Kepala Badan Nasional Penempatan dan Perlindungan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (BNP2TKI) Gatot Abdullah Mansyur.



“Kalau soal itu (asuransi) kemungkinan tidak ada, karena keduanya tidak tercatat sebagai TKI,” kata Gatot Abdullah Mansyur di Mataram, Rabu.



seperti dikutip republika.co.id, meski tidak mendapat asuransi kematian seperti TKI, pihaknya bersama Kementerian Luar Negeri akan berusaha mencarikan solusi agar keluarga kedua WNI tersebut mendapat bantuan dari pemerintah.



“Sampai saat ini kami masih bicarakan dengan Kementerian Luar Negeri, apakah teknisnya pemberian santunan atau apa. Yang jelas akan ada pemberian semacam itu,” katanya.



Gatot menambahkan, kedua WNI Sumarti Ningsih dan Jesse Lorena alias Seneng Mujiasih ini, juga tidak tercatat sebagai TKI. Kedua WNI itu masuk ke Hong Kong hanya berbekal visa kunjungan, meski pernah menjadi TKW.



“Dari hasil penulusuran kami, Sumarti Ningsih ini masuk ke Hong Kong melalui visa sosial budaya. Sedangkan Lorena alias Seneng Mujiasih ini mantan TKI, namun sudah habis masa kerjanya atau masa izin tinggalnya sudah habis (over stay),” kata Gatot di sela acara peresmian gedung baru Layanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (LTSP) Penempatan dan Perlindungan TKI Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat.



Selain itu, berdasarkan data dan fakta yang berhasil dihimpun pihaknya, kedua WNI ini diketahui telah melanggar undang-undang keimigrasian baik yang berlaku di Hong Kong maupun Indonesia.



“Inilah mengapa kami agak kesulitan melacak keberadaan kedua WNI tersebut karena memang keduanya tidak tercatat dalam data base TKI yang berkerja di luar negeri,” ucapnya.



Namun, katanya, meski secara hukum melanggar proses keimigrasian, pihaknya bersama Kementerian Luar Negeri menjamin akan memberikan bantuan kepada pihak keluarga, baik bantuan hukum maupun proses pengiriman jenazah dari Hong Kong menuju daerah asal masing-masing.



“Saat ini kami bersama Kementerian Luar Negeri sedang memproses pengiriman kedua jenazah ke Indonesia, dan kami berharap prosesnya bisa sesegera mungkin dapat diselesaikan,” katanya.

Simple collage with snowflakes on dark background. All individual photos keep their original resolution, and, because i capture snowflakes from nearly same distance from lens, differences in size of crystals close to real.

Revisited House of Music. I really like this building and it's environment. With new processing, it reminds me some place of underwater city Rapture from great game Bioshock.

The keys to december

Decided to change name of blog. New name taken from amazing short story "The Keys to December" by Roger Zelazny, one of my favourite writers. This story, though takes place in cold world, in distant future, have strong relation to our world and our time.

During their last month of duty, Sanza asked him, "Will everything die here but us? The green birds and the big eaters of flesh? The funny little trees and the hairy caterpillar?"

Molten glass

Yet another hexagonal plate from january 2013. This crystal was big for it's type, slightly larger than 1 mm. I like it's details (especially that curved "four-leaf clover" pattern) and how crystal volumetric surface distorts background behind it.

My first insect "studio stack". This is large fly of some common species.

Gear: "snowflake" macro setup, containing Canon Powershot A650 and reversely mounted Helios 44M-5 as magnifier (here its description and photos) + small desktop tripod (Continent F7).

Light: ambient daylight in room + direct sunlight from left side through sheet of white paper. Background: light blue book cover.

Source images: serie of 64 photos (16 groups with different focus, and each group contained 4 identical images for averaging). After RAW processing, i averaged images in groups and then do focus stacking.

Collection of hexagonal plate crystals

Simple hexagonal plates is one of my favourite snowflake types. These small crystals are usually no more than 1.5 millimeters in diameter, and most of them are not larger than 1 millimeter. But, despite its small size and very simple form, they have their own beauty, hidden in the patterns and internal structure.

These photos are the best examples for the last two years. I'll add new crystals as it is processed.
